Both the table top centrifuge Z 326 and the refrigerated table top centrifuge Z 326 K offer a wide assortment of rotor options, making them ideal for a wide variety of research applications. Rotor exchange between swing out, micro, or high volume angled rotors is very simple and can take place in a matter of seconds. The Z 326 K includes the refrigeration system on the back side of the unit, optimized for the lab bench at only 40cm wide.

The footprint of the Force Microcentrifuges may be small, but these powerful units have all the performance features found in larger, more expensive models. All four of the Force Microcentrifuge models feature variable speed. Maximum speed of the line ranges from 10,000 rpm (7,200xg) to 14,000 rpm (16,000xg).. Speed is set in 1,000 rpm increments with the two-digit display indicating the selected speed. Pressing the "mode" button switches the display to g-force. Run time can be set from 0 to 10 minutes in 30 second increments and 10 to 30 minutes in 1 minute increments. Momentary spins can be achieved by setting the timer to zero and pressing the start button. The elapsed time will be displayed, up to 99 seconds. One of the performance improvements to the line has been faster acceleration and deceleration. The high speed models achieve maximum speed in just 15 seconds and come to complete stop in 12 seconds. Airflow patterns within the chamber have been modifies to make the Force Microcentrifuges even quieter. In addition, the high speed models (Force 12, 14 and 16) are equipped with a brushless, maintenance free motor for an even grater reduction in noise levels. At maximum speed, the Force 16 is rated at just 56 dBA. The redesigned airflow patterns also prevent significant rise in sample temperature during runs. The housings of the Force Microcentrifuges are constructed of injection molded, reinforced plastic. A newly designed internal lid latch mechanism provides safety, reliability and convenience for the user.

The latch prevents the lid from being opened while the centrifuge is in operation, In the event of a power failure, the mechanism can be released manually to gain quick and easy access to valuable samples. The force 7, 12 and 14 are supplied with a 12 place rotor for 1.5ml tubes. The rotors are molded from Ultem plastic and supplied with snap-on covers for sample containment. Individual tube slots contain samples in the event of tube breakage. The force 16 is supplied with an 18 x 1.5ml rotor with a transparent snap-on cover. Both the 12 and 18 place rotors will accommodate 0.5ml tubes with adapters. All of the rotors are easily removed for cleaning and autoclaving. All the Force Microcentrifuges are manufactured to rigorous production standards. Every unit undergoes a complete quality inspection prior to shipment. The Force Microcentrifuges are covered by a one year warranty.
The Force Microcentrifuge line is quieter, cooler running and faster to reach maximum speed then ever before. With the addition of the new Model 16, there are four Force Microcentrifuge models to choose from. These compact and economical microcentrifuges will meet a variety of high and low speed applications. Lightweight and requiring a minimum of benchspace, they are easily transported and can be used virtually anywhere, including a cold room.
